The Brief

Plant Plan was recently engaged by Marlin Equity to incorporate biophilia into their new office space. The client was looking to create a green and welcoming environment that would improve staff well-being and productivity, while also creating a unique and visually appealing space.

To achieve this, Plant Plan focused on integrating greenery into various elements of the build plan. Biophilic elements were incorporated into joinery banquette seating and the ceiling grid, which added a natural touch to the space and created a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.

Plant Plan also used plants throughout the space, which helped to purify the air and reduce stress levels. The living wall in the reception area was a particular highlight, bringing life to the open-plan area and creating a vibrant and dynamic space.

The use of biophilia in the design not only enhanced the aesthetics of the space but also contributed to the well-being of employees. Research has shown that incorporating biophilic elements into workspaces can help to improve employee health and well-being, reduce stress levels and increase productivity.
