Cabinet Troughs

Countertop planting for office furniture.

Cabinet troughs, or countertop planters, are planters that sit on top of your standard office furniture. They can be designed to be part of your furniture, match your furniture, or be separate units.

What's the benefit of countertop planting?

Depending on the orientation, cabinet troughs can perform different task.

Arranged parallel, between desks, they reduce sound between desks and give the user direct biophilic benefit as the plants are at eye-level, right behind their workstation.

Arranged perpendicular to the desks, they are a great way of bringing some extra privacy to workstations, and preventing distraction from colleagues walking past.

In both cases, they serve well to prevent piles of documents and other items being left in visible, often messy locations.
