Boasting a prime location in the prestigious Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, 100 Queen’s Gate was the former home of Victorian aristocrat William Alexander, and has been stunningly transformed into a luxury hotel that embraces the building’s heritage.
Plant Plan was commissioned to undertake feature planting throughout the hotel reception, restaurant and street frontage, exactly replicating the original designer’s brief using a variety of planters and plants to enhance and soften the interior and create a magnificent first impression at the entrance to the hotel.
Scope of Project
We used a mix of plant species, from classical clipped box planting to lush palms, blending live and artificial plants to create a visually stunning and functional look that effectively complements the eclectic hotel décor. Outside, a series of statement planters create a welcoming and impressive arrival for guests.
