What is Sick Building Syndrome?
Sick Building Syndrome (SBS) is a phrase used to when people experience small health issues that seem to be linked to time spent in a building, but no specific illness or cause can be identified. Generally, it is linked to bad air quality, such as dry air, de-oxygenated air, and toxins that float around a space. Planting can be used to help solve this issue, by providing moisture to the air, increasing oxygen levels, and absorbing toxins. This in turn reduces the effects of SBS and leads to a healthier, more productive workspace.
Hopefully, that has helped you determine how to improve your workspace using the power of planting. If you need any more help and advice, we’re always happy to help so Give us a shout!
